Seoul Metropolitan Junior Chorus
Conducted by Hak-Yeon Won, Seoul Metropolitan Junior Chorus was established in 1964 by the city of Seoul under the motto of “Sing Sweetly with Pleasant Smiles and Happy Spirits”. The Choir has impressed both children and adults not only by performing classical Western choir music, but also by singing traditional and children songs of countries around the world. Started with Japan nationwide tour for the first time in Korean junior choir history in 1972, Seoul Metropolitan Junior Choir had made a contribution in promoting friendship between Korea and Japan.
Sofia Vokalensemble
The Sofia Vokalensemble was formed in 1995 by Bengt Ollén, who remains as its conductor. The choir's performances are characterized by a warm, lyrical Swedish choral sound and engaging stage presence. At home in Stockholm, Sweden the choir gives regular concerts in the Sofia church. They have performed throughout Scandinavia as well as in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Music of Bach, Poulenc, Pärt and Schnittke occurs frequently in their repertoire. Volunteers

Do you want to join with others around the globe in volunteer work for the IFCM? The IFCM is currently compiling a database of people such as you who wish to have their name included for consideration for assistance in various choral projects throughout the world as they are required. The process is simple. Just send a CV, a photo, and any suggestion of ways you might be able to help us to leonardifra@yahoo.it. Please write "Volunteer's database" in the subject line of your email, and preferably send your material in English. When you are in Seoul come to the IFCM booth on Level 2 and speak to Francesco.
Remember the IFCM slogan "Volunteers connecting our choral world" - come and join us in our work – see you in Seoul!
